Trip to Wallowa Lake

Back in July we took a little trip to visit Grandma Janet & Grandpa Don down at Wallowa Lake. It was nice to get away and enjoy some time at grandmas house. The homemade cinnimon rolls were nice too. :) We took Peyton putt putt golfing, we went on a boat, had some ice cream, and went on the go carts. The boat was fun. Peyton had been saying the word boat alot and was excited to go on one. When we got to the docks and he had to put on a life jacket he got really upset and didn't want to go on it. For the first 30 minutes he kept saying "no boat, no boat" after awhile he started walking around and was having fun. After that everytime we drove by the lake he shouted "boat, boat".

Down at the River

Today Peyton and I went down to the river with my sister Tiffany and her son Craigen. It was great, Peyton loved it. I thought he would hate the water because he hates the water toys down at columbia park. He jumped right in an had a blast. He did some exploring on the shore too. Tiff and I made sand castles but mine wasn't as good as hers. Hers had an awesome mote and some cool shrubs around it not to mention the seashell windows. We all had a really fun time.

Picking Raspberrys

Trip to Seattle

We took a little 2 day trip to Seattle last weekend to see my Grandparents. They live on Whidby island so we got to take a ferry over there. It was nice to see them. My grandpa used to be a firefighter too so it is really cool to his collection of firetrucks and other stuff.

We had a hotel right in downtown so we walked around the town for awhile. Pikes market was fun except we got there alittle to early and had to wait for stuff to open. I bought some tickets on ebay to see a baseball game, so we did that on Sunday before we headed home. The Mariners lost, but the game was still fun. Peyton seemed to like it alot. Besides having a little melt on in the middle he did pretty good. He had his own little mitt and dad was trying to teach him to catch the balls that were flying into our area. No luck with that though. Our trips were nice but im happy to be home for a while and enjoy the sunshine.

Our Trip to the Ocean

At the end of May we took a little family trip to the Oregon Coast. Other than the weather we had a nice time. We spent 5 days on the ocean then one night in Portland on the way home. On the ride up we stopped at Multnomah falls, then headed on. Peyton was set for the long drive with the "Bee" movie. It is his favorite movie and he wouldn't watch anything else. By the time we got home Trey was saying lines from it. Our hotel was right on the ocean and we had a little patio were we could just sit out and watch the waves. Peyton loved the ocean, every morning when he woke up he would head straight for the patio doors and open the curtains and get so excited to see the waves.

It rained pretty much the whole time we were there. We only got to spend half of a day on the beach playing in the sand. We made sand castles, which Peyton had a fun time crushing. We flew kites and just played in the sand and water. It was great! On the rainy days we had to find stuff to do so we took a drive to see the cheese factory. For some reason Peyton thought that was pretty cool. He mostly liked thier ice cream. We also visited an air museum where Peyton got to sit in the cockpit of an airplane and see a big blimp. The Newport aquarium was cool too. My favorite part were the jellyfish. There were these touch tank where we got to touch starfish and other under water creatures. Peyton loved the seals the most. I bought him a little stuffed seal and he has been sleeping with it everynight since. :) It is super cute.

On the way home we stopped in Portland and stayed one night. We went to the Zoo there and it was huge. Plus, we also went to Ikea. What trip would would be complete without Ikea. Then we came home and that was nice. Here are some pictures from our trip.

Balloon Stampede

On the saturday before Mother's day Peyton and I made a mini trip to Walla Walla to see the Balloon stampede. Dad couldn't go because he had to work that day. :( We meet up with my mom and Peyton's cousins when we got there. They had a hotel and were staying the night. Peyton and I were just going to stay that day. But by the end of the night we were so exhausted and I didnt wanna drive home at midnight. The event was at the Walla Walla fairgrounds and there was a lot to do. There were a bunch of booths and food vendors. One booth was all about bubbles. The kids loved it. We found a fire truck that drives around and shoots out bubbles. The kids even got to see all the horses in the horse stables. I took both the boys down the big slide, I think I had more fun then they did.:) At the end of the night there was a concert, balloon light show, and fireworks. They were calling it Liteglow 2010. They set up 10 balloons up and when it got dark they lit them up to music. After the show they had a fireworks display, but by the time that started we were tired and freezing so we didn't stay and watch it all. It was a great day. The whole time they were setting up the balloons and during the light show peyton was either saying "balloon" or "up" I took this picture in mid "balloon". It is so funny!!

Before Peyton turned 1 I took him in every month to get his pictures taken at my old job, Picture People. They were really good and it was cheap. Then they closed down and I was bummed. I took him to Sears for Christmas and tryed that, it was bad. Finally my friend I worked with at Picture People opened her own photography business. She took Peyton's 2 year pics and they turned out amazing. She is so awesome and her new studio is great. Thanks Susan!!! These are my favorites. Hope you enjoy! :)

Feeding the Ducks

While Avery was here all us girls took the kids to the duck pond to feed the birds while the guys were golfing. I have never taken Peyton down there before. He had a blast. A couple times he didnt throw the bread quick enough and the birds took it right out of his hands. He didnt even flinch. At one point he stuck his fingers in bird poo, ohhh it was so nasty. Then I had it between my toes. (vomit) I dont recommend wearing flops to that place.

On April 12th Peyton turned 2. We had a little gathering with Trey's family on Saturday before his bday. He loves anything "Cars" so I made that the theme. It was really nice having everyone there to celebrate. Even Peyton's cousin Avery was able to be here. They had so much fun playing together. She enjoyed helping Peyton open his presents too. It was so cute. On Sunday we went to my moms house for a BBQ bday party for Peyton. It was nice, all the kids just hung out and played outside. The weather was perfect too. My sister got him this winnie the pooh bubble blower. That thing is so sweet. Peyton loves it! This picture makes me laugh! My sister and I were trying to get a good pic of ourselves and Trey is in the background trying to get in on the action.

Egg Hunt

On Easter Sunday Trey had to work so Peyton and I went to my mom's house for Easter dinner and an easter egg hunt. My sister and her family were all there too. So Peyton got to go on an Easter egg hunt with his cousins.

Here are the boys ready to get some eggs.

There were 3 large golden plastic eggs, one for each of the boys. Peyton decided to through his. When it hit the ground it popped open and a bunch of candy came out. That is when he decided to start throwing all of his eggs to get candy. :) Not all of them were plastic, so we had a bunch of cracked hard boiled eggs. Peyton found a slinky in his basket. Apparently mowers have a strange effect on little boys. They wouldn't get off of that riding lawn mower.

Dying Easter Eggs

On Saturday before Easter Sunday we all got together over at my mom's house to dye eggs. Man that was a mess. Three kids and lots of dye is not a good combanation. It was a huge mess, but it was so fun. We just let Peyton go at it and he hadit all over the place in his hair, on his face, and his hands were green by the time we got done. The only color he wanted was blue. We would try and give him a different color but he just kept saying blue. This the only color he knows how to say besides purple. At one point he was getting mad at the eggs and just started throwing them in the cups. After a short time out he was back and ready to play nice. :)

Peyton loves to help out with everything around the house. It is so funny if we are doing dishes he will drag a big chair over and hop up and help. Same with the cooking, when im making dinner he has to be right there helping. He is my little sue chef. We have a laundry shoot in our house and he loves to take his clothes and kick then down. His new favorite chore is dusting. When grandma Janet was here her and Peyton where wiping down some stuff with lysol wipes now he likes to wipe down everything. I give him baby wipes though just in case he trys to eat one. :) The other day I caught him climbing on his chair trying to clean the blinds. It was hilarious. Maybe it was a hint I need to start with the spring house cleaning.

Upgrading to a Toddler Bed

A couple of weeks ago we decided it was time for Peyton to have his firetruck bed. We found it at a yard sale this past summer and have been storing it in the basement. We switched his room and upgraded him to a big boy bed. He did better than I thought he would with all the change. The first couple of nights he would wake up and be crying at the door but after that all when well. He will just climb right up lay down and night night. He loves his curious goerge stuffed animal and cant sleep in his bed without it (thanks aunt Teri).

Slacking Off.

So I have been totally slacking off on this blogging thing. Just haven't had much time and blogging seemed like a pain in the bum. People keep asking so i figured i'd post something to make everyone happy!
I shaved Peyton's head!!! I wasn't trying to, but I am just super bad at cutting boys hair. I hate clippers. I have vowed never to do it myself again I will pay the 10 bucks every 3 months just to not have to do it. I trimed it up and it looked good but then I was noticing alot of longer hairs that needed trimmed. So I took out the clippers to fix it up and we had a accident and well... He is bald now. Thankfully he takes after his dad and look super handsome with no hair.

We took Peyton's binks away and since then his vocabulary has exploded. It is crazy everyday he is saying atleast 2-3 new words. I guess with no bink in his mouth he could actually talk. Today we were hanging out over at aunt Teri's house playing with Grandma and Grandpa and he said egg, open, and more. Yesterday he said bubble for the first time.His favorite words right now: moo (moon) and please. He has been mimicing what we say lately so that is pretty cool.

The other day we went to the childrens gymnastics acadamy. They have open gym time were u can bring ur kids and let them run around and play. There are all sorts of toys to play on. Rope swings, a bouncy house, a trampoline, giant balls, and much much more. Peyton loves the trampoline but hates the bouncy house. He also likes to run around in circles on the giant mat.

We really haven't been up to to much. It seems like I have been busy though. Here are some random pictures. Hope you enjoy!

During the holiday season we met up with some of Trey's family and went over to thier church to play some basketball. Peyton loves any type of ball and got really mad when the game started and he could run around the court. He tried so hard to be like the big guys and make those big baskets. Maybe next year! :)

Christmas with Our Families

On Christmas eve Peyton and I celebrated with my family. Trey couldn't make it because he was at work. We had a good time though. Grandma got Peyton this cool Inch Worm. It is a giant catipiller that moves. He wasnt sure what to do with it but his cousin craigen really liked it.:)

The day before we all went to Trey's brother's house to celebrate Christmas. We do this white elephant gift exchange and this year the theme was "thrift store." We had to buy our gift from the good will and it had to be under $10. It was kinda funny, it would have been nice if everyone actually bought thier stuff at the thrift store. :) I found this mail box so I bought a bunch of random stuff and shoved it in the mail box. One item I found were some giant man undies. Some good ol' whitie tighties. Well Kevin picked out the mail box and when he found the undies he thought it would be hot to put them on. Good idea!! Lookin' good Uncle Kevin. :)

Gobblins, Gouls, & Ghost Oh My!

Pumpkin Decorating Time: Instead of carving we bought these potato head pieces you just push into the pumkin. I thought they would be fun but they aren't as cool as carving. Peyton mostly enjoyed pulling the pieces out of the pumpkins.

Trick or Treating was fun. Peyton was a monkey this year. We went to all the family members then met up with my sister and her family and my mom. We went to my mom's church, they were having a Halloween carnival. It was pretty cool! There tons of games for the kids, there was food, a hay ride, and bouncy toys. There was even a place set up where we could get our pictures taken.

I though this was funny. There was a game that Peyton really liked and when it was time to go he fell on the floor and wouldn't get up. Oh dear gotta love the toddler tantrums.

Pickin' Pumpkins

The other day we took a little trip to the pumpkin patch at the merchantile in Pasco. They had a corn maze, hay pyramids, mini hay maze, petting zoo, and a pumpkin patch. Peyton loved it so much. Exspecially the hay maze and pyramids. Im not sure what it was about the hay but he loved it, so much that he decided to eat a little. I guess it didn't taste all that great cause he stuck his hand so far in his mouth to get the hay out that he choked and throw up. We also took a little wagon ride down to the pumpkin patch to pick put our pumkins. It was pretty cool. When we were in the maze he was so funny he would be running full spend then stop at a corner to take a pick around it. Probally didnt help that i was hidding and jumping out at every corner. Bathroom Remodel

Ever since we painted our house I have wanted to use the extra paint to do something else. On Monday I decided I wanted to remodel the bathroom. We took a little jont to the Wal-mart and I found some really cute stuff and it was on sale too. Win win! I Painted 2 walls red ans left the other 2 walls tan. I painted the trim a tan color and painted the cabinet an espresso brown it almost looks black. Teri sold me this ladder shelf awhile aog and I put that in there. I love how it turned out. I still have to paint the mirror and the light fixture. The closet door needs some paint as well. Plus I want to put something on the wall behing the toilet. I forgot to take before pics but here is what it looks like now.

I bought a new sewing machine!!!Im so excited about it, it does like 30 different stitches. There are some really cool decorative ones too. Im really anxious the use them on a project. I've got so many projects going and my mind is racing with project ideas. I just cant turn it off. I found some old embroidery projects I stared a few years ago and never finished, so I am working on finishing those. I did start a few new ones too. Opps! There was this really cool magazine at the Winco about sewing so I had to buy it. Yes had too!!! I made a laptop case for my laptop. I have come to the conclusion that I am just no good at ready directions, so i made up my own. The case came out alright. Not exactly the way I invisioned but I like it.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

The girls in my family decided we needed to have a girls night. We got a hotel with a pool and spa and hung out for the night. It was so much fun that we are thinking of having a girls night every month. We gave my mom a makeover and then we all went out for dinner. While we were out my mom and I went into the store to grab a few things and my sister stayed in the car. When we were in the store we grabbed some silly string to attack my sister. Later that night when my mom was busy I told my sister the silly string plan. I thought it would be funny if I double crossed my mom and we attacked her. Oh and it was!!! My mom and I went down to get some snacks and I told Tiff to get the stuff ready. When we were heading back upstairs my mom said she had to run to the car so my sister and I waited in the room for her to come back. When she opened the door we attacked. It was so funny. She never suspected a thing. Aww Good Times!!!In the car making funny faces. Dont worry we were parked. Oh silly string who knew u could be so much fun.

While Trey's mother was here we decided to go do some thrift store shopping. I found these really cool retro looking chairs. They were in good condition but the pillows where ugly and just horrible. They were only $15 a piece. We went to Joanns and bought some fabric and recovered those bad boys.Trey's mom did all the sewing. (Thanks Janet!) I did all the painting though. I painted the bottoms black and the rest a espresso brown color to match my couch. I am totally in love with what we made. It looks so good. We also made pillows to match. Woo hoo!!!!!

Yumm Baby Lotion..Taste So Good!

My sister gave me this bath robe for Peyton and he finally fits into it so after his bath i let him run around in it the other day. He looks like something out of Star Wars. He is so funny! He decided to take off with the baby lotion and I guess eat it. I assume it didn't taste all that great. He didn't really eat any but the cap didn't taste to good.

Painted the House

After 2 1/2 years of living in this faded yellow house we decided it was time to paint. The whole house was a yellow color, the trim and shutters were green and the door was red. We decided to go with a lighter brown color for the house. All the trim and the garage door are white and the doors and shutters are red. I am very pleased with the out come of it all. Trey's mom came down and stayed with us for 5 days so she sould help watch Peyton while we all painted. Teri and Kevin helped with all the "fun" stuff. Thank you guys! Its Book Learning Time

Peyton gets so excited when it it reading time. He loves his books. He has a little wagon full of baby books that we keep on the floor in his room so he can get them whenever he wants. He will go in there and pick out a book and bring it to me, then he will sit in my lap all ready to read. It is so cute. I love spending reading time with him. Some day he will be able to read to me. lol:)

Peyton's First Haircut

I decided it was time to get Peyton's hair cut. It was running wild in all different directions. We took him to Monkey Dooz. It is a kids hair cutting place. They have little jeeps for the kids to sit in and cartoons to keeps them busy. It is such a cute little place. I kept some of Peyton's hair and they gave me a little first haircut certificate.

Off to the Fair

We decided to go to the fair this year. We thought Peyton might enjoy the animals and stuff. Plus we had to get our annual button. Trey and I have a one of those huge buttons with our picture on it from every year except last year. We decided not to go last year. The fair was... well it was the fair not all that exciting. Peyton got to pet a sheep, he didnt like that much. He was to small for the rides so we just walked around the exhibits and stuff. We did get Ice creme and Peyton got his very first ice creme cone. It was so funny watching him. He go so super excited after he took a lick and realized it was yummy. After about 5 licks he dropped it. lol He was very sad. Trey surprised me today with this huge "4" balloon and a dozen red roses. He is so sweet! The best husband and father I could have ever asked for. Who new me turning him down to see Passion of the Christ would have led to marriage. :) Love u dear!

Futurama is Coming!!

Im so excited that Futurama is coming back onto the air. Futurama is made by the makers of the Simpsons and is the best show ever. They stopped making it a few years ago and I was really sad. Reruns are on comedy central, which is awesome. There has been a few Futurama movies since too. The movies must have been popular cause it is coming back. It is supposed to be back on FOX next year. HOOTIE HOO!!! Looking foraward to a wonderful Bender filled 2010!!

Peyton loves the Richard Scary car! Aunt Teri found this car at a thrift store for super cheap, so all the little babies can play with it. Peyton loves it! On Sunday my sister and I went to visit my dad for his birthday. It was really nice, we went to lunch and then decided to go see a 3-d movie. We saw G-Force, the one about the crime fighting hampsters. lol It was kinda cheesy but we all had a good time. Those 3-d movies are kinda cool. They are coming out with "A Christmas Carol" in 3-d and also "Alice in Wonderland". I am super excited about "Alice in Wonderland" because Johnny Deep is in it. Love him!

Summer Time Fun

My nephew Micah came over to have a sleepover so we set the tent up and had a campout. We had such a great time. For dinner since it was way to hot to have a fire pit and do hot dogs, we made homemade pizzas. Micah loved making his own canadian bacon and pineapple pizza. Then we watched a movie called Inkheart. It was pretty good! After the movie Micah and I went to the tent and told ghost stories and played games. Today we went to have a picnic in Howard Amon park in Richland. The park has a huge playground, a beautiful walk-way, and a wading pool. The kids played in the pool and swang on the swings. It was hot out but it was really fun.

Today Peyton got to go visit the dentist for the first time. He was less than thrilled about the whole situation. They checked all 8 of his little teeth and put some floride on them. He is teething right now, he is getting his molars. :( Poor guy! Molars, shots and the dentist in 2 days. The dentist said we are doing a great job taking care of his teeth, they look nice and healthy. We brush 2 times a day, he gets his floride drops, and he doesn't drink from a bottle. So I guess all is well. They gave him a toothbrush and some floss for being such a brave little man. Good job Buddy!

This evening we took Peyton to the park for a little treasure hunt for random park stuff. We brought his bucket so he could put the stuff he found in it. He had a great time, he really likes putting stuff in other stuff. There are baseball diamonds at the park so we took him to run the bases and he liked to step on them.

We went to the home depot yesturday to look at paint swatches, cause we are going to paint our house next month. A worker there gave Peyton a little guy home depot apron with tools in it. He got a little tape measure and some other things. It is the cutest thing.

Toy: Anykind of ball. Ever since we went to wallowa lake and he learned to throw rocks into the stream he throws balls like crazy.

Activity: Going up & down stairs. Somebody forgot to close the door to the downstairs(me), Trey heard a ball go down the stairs he ran over there and Peyton was already 3 stairs down, ready to go play in the basement.

Drink: Peyton has recently learned how to gulp from a water bottle and also use a straw so he loves water. After he takes a sip he laughs. Too cute!

Food: Bananas Bananas Bananas

Game: He loves to play peek-a-boo around corners and then get chased. I will hid behind a corner and he will come walking then I will scare him and he will run away laughing as I chase him through the house.

Outdoor Activity: He will run to the mail box and reach up trying to get the mail. He cant reach yet so he is up there on his tippy toes trying.

Song: Row Row Row your boat. He like to dance though so pretty much any song is good. Trey and I are weird and like to make up random songs which I think Peyton likes the most. :)

Bouncy Bouncy

I was cleaning Peyton's room today and pulled his mattress out of his crib to wash his bedding. I left the mattress on the ground and Peyton decided to get up on it and have some fun. It was hilarious he was having such a great time bouncing around. Trey was bouncing with him and Peyton was going really high. Then he went over and face-planted into Trey's foot. Opps! It was fun while it lasted.

A Camping We Will Go

For the 4th of July we went camping at Wallowa Lake. We had such a great time. Michelle and I were going to go parasailing but they weren't offering it this summer. Which totally bummed us out because we were both looking forward to that. We all did some fun stuff though. We did some cosmic bowling, some good ol' mini golfing, we made smores, and watched some fireworks. Peyton had a great time to he got to have his own golf putter and play a couples holes with us. He was facinated with Reilly's food dish. He spend lots of time spooning the food in and out until he realized he could eat it. Then the fun stopped. :) There was also alot of time digging and throwing rocks into the steam. That seamed to be Peytons favorite thing. He loved all the rocks.

Waterparks & Snowcones... What a mess!!!

The other day it was super hot out, like 94 and I decided it would be fun to take Peyton to the waterpark down in columbia park. It was packed and there were so many kids. Peyton didn't know what the heck to do. He didn't like the water spraying all over the place so instead we decided to go get him a snow cone. He loved that!! He tryed to feed himself with the spoon and it was a total mess. All over him and me. He had fun trying to feed me snow cone though. :) He thought it was funny when it would would come out of the cup and land on our legs. By the end we were super sticky.

We got one of those seats for toddlers that hooks onto the back of my bike so we can take Peyton with us when we ride. Of course we got him a helmet too. He didn't like it very much, here are some pictures of him trying to get it off. Oh and the helmet is for 3 years and up but because he takes after him dad in the head area it fit nicely.

Our Trip to Seattle

We just got back from our trip to Seattle. Trey and I went up there on Sunday and spent 2 nights away. We left little man Peyton with aunt Teri for a few days. It was the first time we have gotten to go away together since Peyton was born. Our hotel was wonderful we got upgrated to a Space needle view and we didn't even have to pay for it. The Mariners were in town so we got to watch a game. I forgot my foam finger! Darn it. The next day we woke up super early and headed down to pikes market. I love it there, the shops are so cool. Our hotel was in downtown Seattle so we could walk to alot of stuff. We walked around pikes market and all over downtown Seattle. It was a long day we started out at like 10am and got back at like 8pm. It was super fun. We took a monorail from down town to the spaceneedle area. The waterfront area is really cool so we went and strolled down there for awhile. It is so weird how different the people are there. We saw some crazies and a ton of bums.This was the view from our hotel. Here is a giant donut we got from pikes market. It was so big Trey couldn't eat the whole thing. lolOn Tuesday we came home, rested for a day, packed up and head out on Thurday. This time we took Peyton with us. On the way up there we got to stop and eat breakfast with Peytons Grandpa. Thanks dad!! We love you! When we got to Seattle we headed strait to the aquarium for some good ol' fishy fun. It was pretty cool however Peyton wasn't into it. My favorite part was the octopus. It was so huge.The next day we took a short little ferry ride over to Whidby Island to visit my Grandparents. Then we headed back to Seattle to go to the zoo. Peyton loved the zoo alot better than the aquarium. We were looking at the leapards and I was calling them cats, now Peyton can say cat. Yeah!!! Such a smart little guy. We say flamingos, hippos, lions, and a ton of other cool animals.

That night we took a little swim at our hotel pool. It was Peytons first swim. I love his little life jacket outfit thing. Here is a picture of him looking all cute.

Today we head home and that was the end of our Seattle trip. THE END!

We found a 2008 Mitsibishi Endevor for a great price and didn't want to pass it up. I love it! Yes it is red. Now all three of our cars are red. lol Here is a picture of the car we bought.

Counting down the days to my birthday. Im turning the big 2 4. OOOOOO so old!! Trey and I are going to Seattle for a couple day to spend some time alone. Teri is watching Peyton while we are gone. (Thanks so much we truly appriciate u guys) We are leaving this Sunday. We have tons of plans while we are up there. Were going to a Mariners game, visiting Pike Street Market, going to Ikea, and we are going to eat at Hooters.

Summer Fun

This week we have been spending alot of time working on our yard. Hauling away rock, putting up cement blocks, shoveling top soil, planting flowers and so on.... The last 2 days have been way too hot. 98 degrees today. YIKES!!!! We decided to bust out Peyton's little froggy pool and let him play around in it. Turns out he loved it. He splashed and splashed. Camping @ Fishhook Park

For Mother's Day and my sisters birthday we all went camping at fishhook. Our family, my sister's family and my mom all went up there. It was colder than I thought but we had heaters in our tents so it wasn't bad. We fished, played games, chased kids, and made smores. It was fun! Trey and I have never been camping together so this was the McGinty family's first camping experiance. I love sleeping in a tent it was fun having Peyton in there, he would just crawl all over the air mattress and the hundred blankets we had. The last night we were there it started raining. The wind picked up and by the morning we were racing to get stuff packed to get out of there. All in all it went really well. Cant wait till 4th of July camping to up at Wallowa Lake.

After the rain and wind stopped today turned out to be a pretty nice day. We had the sprinklers on and were playing outside. Peyton loves to chase the sprinkler around and around. Or he just likes to stand there and get wet. It is too funny watching him play. Today he tryed to go through the doggy door and.... got stuck. lol He was crying but I was laughing. After he got all wet I changed him into jammies, then we ran over to Teri's and Peyton decided he wanted to keep playing in the grass. He got all muddy and dirty. Back from Scrapbooking Trip

We are back from Wallowa Lake. Man O' Man did we do some major scrapbooking. I got nearly 40 pages finished. It was truly amazing. Oh and those cricut machines are so cool. They were running non stop the whole weekend. I had so much fun using the cricut that when I got home I went on Ebay. Oh yeah I bought one!!! Only $107. What a deal!!! It is going to be here tomarrow. Woo hoo!!!! It came with a cartridge and everything. Yippie. Sorry I am totally excited.

Hippity Hoppity Easter! Yesturday was fun it was Peytons first Easter and we headed over to my moms house for some egg dying, food, easter baskets and an egg hunt. My sister and her family were there too. It was so much fun. Trey, Peyton and I got there early too dye some eggs. Which turned out to be a big mess but totally fun. I dyed most of them with my mom. Peyton just wanted to throw the eggs, maybe next year. :) The easter bunny brought all the kids easter baskets with some cool toys and giant bouncing balls. It was a little rainy but that didn't stop our easter egg hunt. We went out in the yard and hid all the eggs, then the kids came out to hunt for them. It was the most adorable thing ever, watching 2 one year olds do an easter egg hunt. Peytonhad no idea what was going on. My nephew Craigen was so funny he would stand there point and laugh. He has the cutest laugh. He was so funny! Peyton even got to climb a tree today. After the egg hunt we went in and I wanted to see if he would eat a hard boiled egg. Apparently he is like is daddy and wanted nothing to do with that egg. Dad was cheering that on! My mom had another present for peyton and he got to open that too. It was a really cool slide . Peyton turned 1 on Easter Sunday. I got him this shirt off the internet that had a big 1 on it, i thought it was super cute. He got his pictures taken in that for his bithday. He also got to hang out with family, eat cake, and open presents. The presents didn't seem to interest him but he sure did like that cake. MMMM MMMM good! At first he was more interested in smearing his cake all over his highchair than he was in eating it. Once he tasted that sweet goodness it was all over and the cake was distroyed. Yesturday we spent the day cleaning up the front of our yard. We shoveled out a whole truck load of rock and sent them away. Good bye rocks! I want to plant some colorful flowers instead of have rocks. We still have a couple more truck loads but we got alot finished. Cant wait till it is all done. This weather has been too nice to pass up the opportunity to be outside. Peyton seemed to enjoy it too. We brought the playpin outside put him in it and tossed a couple toys in there, he was good and happy for about 3 hours. It was cool we got a lot done. Peyton even got to help. He ran up and down the drive way throwing sticks and rocks. He fell in the dirt where we were digging, he didn't know what to do. I am suprised he didn't try to eat it. Lol This is when he was running up and down the driveway throwing rocks.

Peytons new Toys

We were shopping at Walmart the other day and we went through the toy department to find Peyton a big bouncy ball to play with at the park. Some how we ended up with a pastic snake too. He likes it for some reason. It sure kept him quiet during our walk around the store. (Thank heavens)! So now his favorite toys are his blue ball and his yellow snake.

He likes to try and put his ball on the counters and in small places they dont fit. It is kinda fun to watch him when it gets stuck. He is like his mom, he gets frustrated quickly!!!

After buying Peytons new carseat we had this huge box to play with. What could be better than that. Peyton really seemed to like it. We played Peek-a-boo in it too. He didn't like it to much when I tipped the box over.

We also took little man to visit the park for the first time. ( I am so happy it is spring) It was so cool, he loved it. He was running around that jungle gym like crazy, mostly trying to catch his shadow and the other kids. One little girl keep trying to take him up on the big toys. It was super cute. Peyton got so excited that he would try to run and he would face plant. Whoops!!! All in all good day at the park. :)

So Peyton started walking today!!! Woo hoo! It is so exciting. Last week he just started using his walker toy now he is ready to rock n roll. Tomarrow he will be all over the place. :) I wasn't expecting him to get it down today. I figured within the next few weeks but he prooved me wrong. It must have been because my nephew was over playing with him and he can walk already so Peyton wanted to too. I am so proud of our little guy! He is so awesome.

For Valentines Day Trey got me an Ipod Nano. I love it! You can put pictures on it and play games too. It does all sorts of things and is more handy than my Ipod shuffle. I have been playing with it all weekend. I spent like 2 hours on Itunes downloading songs and organizing my music. I bought a cover for it on ebay last night, so I cant wait to get that. Woo hoo! Thanks Honey!

On another note Peyton can walk around furniture now. He has this walker that he pushes all around the living room. He is a speedy lil' guy now. Yesturday my 6 year old nephew Micah stayed the night. We had a blast. We played some WII, then we built the biggest bestest fort ever. Then we watched a movie and ate some popcorn. He slept in his fort. When we woke up we played some more WII and had some delcious pancakes. mmm.

Micah is learning to play basketball this year. Me and Peyton went down and watched him play yesturday. He is really good. He made every shot he took and could dribble like a pro. :) Here are some pictures of him hoopin' it up. WoOp WoOp!!

My nephew had his 6th birthday at the roller skating rink. It was so fun. Haven't been to a rollerskating rink since I was in middle school. I wish Trey could have been there but he had to work. It was a total blast. I never fell once but as soon as we got out there my sister totally biffed it. People were dropping like flies. Some guy was trying to do turns and he fell it was hilarious. My mom even got out there with us and had some fun. It was really cool.

Over Christmas I went sleding with my family. I had a really good time even though it was freezing. Peyton went down the hill with me twice, I think he liked it. It got to cold for the little guys out there so we didn't stay long. The next day I took trey up there and the two of us went sleding. That was the first time we had ever done that together. It was hilarious!! We crashed so many times we popped one of the innertubes.
